I'm inventing (R.I.P.) Part#1.
My Uncle's name was Gussie Dawson.
His sunrise was April 5th, 1947 and his sunset was July 1, 2022.
He was born in Dale South Carolina.
He as a teenager moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania whereas he graduated from Bok Vocational-Technical Institute High School.
He received a Certification in HVAC and Electrical Training at Lincoln Technical Institute in Pennsylvania.
He accepted Jesus Christ at his church home Corner Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He met and married the love of his life Andrea Laverne and their marriage lasted for 49 year's until his passing.
Him and his wife only child Eric Alexander was born in 1973.
He once had his professional career as Lead Electrician for Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA).
He was promoted to the position of Motor Shop Supervisor at the 69th Street Transportation Center where he supervised over 30 motor repairmen for SEPTA's elevated cars (EL), subway and regional car systems.
He retired from SEPTA after 27 year's of dedicated service.
He received his real estate license where he assisted in buying and selling homes and businesses throughout the city of Philadelphia.
He became a certified Notary Public officer for the state of Pennsylvania.
He read and practiced and learned diverse skills to do home repairs.
His hobbies include: social dancing and traveling and playing pinochle.
His 1 grandson was Eric Makai.
His mother was Ernestine Dawson Jackson.
His sister-in-law was Barbara Newborn Decatur, GA.
R.I.P. Uncle Gussie Dawson.
